Confronting Copyright: workshop for Librarians and Academicians

 With great pleasure to inform you that Libraries  of NMIMS , Mumbai and JCCL , Mumbai is going to organize a National Workshop on Confronting Copyright: for Librarians and Academicians on 14th October, 2017 

The broad objective of this workshop is to provide a suitable forum:

• To create awareness among professionals about copyright issues in day to day professional practice 
• To Introduce the legal amendments in copyright Act  to the participants.
• To acquaint the participants with the concept of fair use and copyright in digital resources.
• To provide platform to share views and clear issues on Copyright Act
• To promote competencies to the participants for managing plagiarism 

Target Participants:

Librarians and Academicians in academic institutions like colleges. University and corporate and  special libraries

Any stakeholder in concerned fields , students of Library Science and Students seeking for carreer as academician also may join.

Conference Hall of NMIMS Library, Mumbai Campus , Bhaktivedanta Road, Vileparle West, Mumbai: 400056

Resource Person :

Experienced faculties of  IPR ,Copyright, Plagiarism and Digital Right Management having in-depth experience in allotted subject by knowledge , experience and practice in the field.
